Our dynamic workshops offer a rare, hands-on bridge between the city’s visual past and the living craft of traditional sign-making. Hosted within the active fabrication studio of our strategic partner, Noble Signs, these sessions provide students the unique opportunity to learn historic techniques focused on brush work, lettering, and sign layout alongside our knowledgeable staff and world-class instructors from New York and beyond.
Participants have the opportunity to work surrounded by our collection of rescued storefront icons, gaining direct inspiration from the vernacular styles that define New York’s visual identity.
Workforce development, accessibility, and our East New York community are all vital to the future of this historic craft. We offer scholarship seats for every workshop to ensure these analog skills are accessible to local residents.
